This one has gone the way of many Viogniers: low acid and not enough fruit to handle the alcohol. This is hot and not too impressive - a shame considering the pedigree. 14.5%, $28.

Fragrant nose of candied pear and lime. Crisp, with a long dry finish. Could use more acidity but this still comes together.

I generally like Penner-Ash, but I did not care for this one.

Very smooth and definitely ready to drink. Paired nicely with turkey tacos!
