Dinner at Barbara and Lance's in Princeton (with Brenda, Jen and Tash plus kids and a dog) (Princeton, NJ): Lovely red fruit, flowers, vanilla, perfume and a touch of spice on the finish. We had it with the Indian food from Cross Culture (not original but a good pairing!). I especially liked it with the tandoori salmon and the samosas. This was the last NJ bottle but Sue has some in Virginia, I think. Drink now but could hold a little longer.
In our line-up, we had two "mountain" pinot noirs (#1 and #3) and this was the "valley" pinot noir, from Carneros, and it showed (to me), with the brighter fruit.

See previous notes....a little more nuanced (secondary flavor profiles beginning to emerge) than the previous bottle but basically everything was the same. The one quick note is the color is beginning to change at the edges. Highly recommended but I think I would drink soon. Two more left that I hope to complete by years end.

Sue, Leanne and Erich had this in Virginia and loved it. (They searched for where to get more). We got this on close-out for $12 / bottle. Great qpr for that.
