  Seamlessly excellent. The nose is fruit-forward with cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate. That leads into some secondary notes of sous bois, tobacco, graphite, and a little sweet potpourri. Very lively tannins and acidity still, the palate holds up well to the nose with cranberry, plum, and chocolate leading into a more floral version of the potpourri. Might hold for a while still, but it's wonderful now.

  Medium garnet in color. The nose is light on primary notes. Tobacco leaf, bell pepper, leather and soil. Quite earthy. Dry and a tad austere on the palate. Tannins are fully resolved, acid is medium plus, alcohol is medium and not noticeable. Not a lot freshness but still very enjoyable. Finish is of mid length. Drink on the short term.

  Benefiting from a couple of hours in the decanter, this is drinking beautifully and should stay here for at least the next 5 years.

  Still drinking beautifully. Opened and decanted for 3 plus hours Impressive nose and length. Tempting to drink remaining bottles now but seems to have the potential to age a few more years
