This bottle is now drinking beautifully in March 2024. Coming up to its ninth birthday this fall, decant for a couple of hours and it is alive with flavour and texture that has been lacking up to now, or maybe I didn’t decant it long enough. Loved it and I think it will keep getting better. Had it with steak and mushroom pie.

Needs a 2 hour decant at this point. Look, nose and taste are all very good. It will improve over a few more years. Just lacks qualities that would make it exceptional.

Great with Bison! 15 years old and in it’s prime. Drink and enjoy but lots of years ahead. Silky tannins. Meat, tomato, and sanguine mesh with the fruit and the full, rich, smooth experience. Decant for 2 hours - needed it and it is amazing.
