Dark ruby, hint of garnet. Black fruits on the nose but starting to build secondary and tertiary notes, licorice and barnyard. Decent palate for its level, but fruit is just a bit lacking on the mid palate and you can feel a touch of alcohol, so I’d drink up sooner rather than later.
Overall it’s a solid wine and good VFM, but it leans to the darker side with more licorice notes than I prefer, not sure I’d repurchase again.

Young and fresh looking, deep ruby colour with only the slightest hint of garnet. Nose was fairly open with classic Syrah notes of purple fruits, licorice, olive brine and a hint of barnyard. Palate was similar, with young fresh purple fruits, very well balanced acidity and then licorice and inky notes on the medium length finish. With time in the glass it developed more silky textures and slight cured meats notes. Well integrated tannins.
Very nice indeed, and ready to go, but recommend a decant as it improves with some air.

This was very pleasant, and in the middle of its drinking window with decent freshness still, but also mature layers of morel mushrooms and loamy earth notes on the mid palate. Perhaps at the margins it was a little acidic and sharp on the entry, but overall very enjoyable.
