Just looked at my note from around four years ago and think it isn’t too dissimilar from today, possibly in a little more of an advanced state. Has the flesh and structure to go further, only quibble was a slight spike in acid and alcohol though not sure if a longer decant may have helped pull it all together. Overall it is a beautiful wine, so well made and great drinking.

Great value Bordeaux here, not the most complex but it still feels like authentic Bordeaux in the glass. Tobacco, cedar and blackberries, gritty tannins, is smoothing out quite nicely. I think this may get a little better from here, has the ingredients to develop further.

Cracking wine, this has aged very well and is in a great drinking window. Soft and mellow tannins, really supple, such an earthy wine, gravelly, more in the dark red fruit spectrum, mocha and a hint of aniseed. Balance impeccable, usually my favourite in the Wendouree line up, this will keep going for some time yet but why wait.
