This is so good right now. I wasn’t sure this would keep getting better for this long but it absolutely has. Rich and full, the nose says high end Napa cab. In the mouth, the fruit is still going strong in the middle and the body is full around the sides of the mouth. So very delicious. Bravo.

Opened with the 2013. On opening, the 2013 was preferred. But with air (2.5 hours of slow ox in bottle after 2 glasses poured), the 2013 faded and became slightly harsh while this wine, the 2014, excelled. Big and bold in what I think of as the house style, this was giving the kind of powerful fruit and acidity that would cut through the fat of a ribeye or a thick slice of bacon. No urgency to open this if you’ve got some knocking around the cellar.

7/27/2014 4:06:00 PM - Hi I am trying to find out where and how I can get this type of wine.. 2004 Azienda Agricola Vesevus Gragnano Penisola Sorrentina
2/27/2013 8:19:00 AM - Gray - For that '98 Les Cailloux CdP, I specifically looked for the importer when I entered my note as I noticed the comments regarding flawed bottles from Adventures in Wine purchased from WineBid. It didn't have an importer sticker on the back and I didn't see the importer listed on the front, so I'm not 100% sure, but would assume it was not AIW.

By the glass at Bern’s in Tampa. Drinking very well. Dried apricot, raisin, tobacco. Clearly aged but not at all faded. Very glad I ordered it.
