Friday, January 27, 2023 - This has been a prolific CNY period, where I shared with buddies 4 of my wine heroes.. Monte Bello 2001, Lynch Bages 2004, Sassicaia 2009 and this Ornellaia.

However, this aged Super Tuscan remained restrained throughout the night. Tight nose, blackberries and light leather palate.

Tannins better resolved after 4 hours, dark chocolate mid palate & long finish.

9th bottle of 11, "Of legal age" theme at Casa SKT with Chef LMK. How did I fulfil the 21 year vintage? This 16 year old Ornellaia, and 5 year old Batar!
