Saturday, February 24, 2024 - Have been holding this in the cellar mostly because was my oldest QC vintage. Didn’t really have high expectations given the age. Beautiful nose, cherry pipe tobacco, musty earth. On palette surprisingly big. Lots of cherry notes, cassis, green pepper. Good finish. Pretty amazing for a 36 year old Washington Cab. Guessing not many of these left in cellars but if so drink up!!
