Wednesday, October 6, 2004 - Dark, inky purple colour. Intense, jammy nose with distinct notes of ripe blackcurrant (lozenges), eucalyptus and stewed cherries. Some sweet, velvety tannins on the palate. Intensely blackcurranty, massive extraction but still smooth. Medium length and slightly drying finish. Not really to my taste but I can see its appeal.
