Read that due to a difficult vintage they only released this second bottling, so perhaps that accounts for the grace of this $20 value. Light ruby, pure color. Cherry and some black pepper in the nose. Strawberry, raspberry in the mouth with a bit of earth, pine, smoke. Crisp finish, reminding me of Cab Franc.
