Saturday, September 12, 2020 - A perfect representation of classic Napa cab. Compared to the 01 Pichon Baron by its side (which showed very well), this wine really stole my heart. Tons of graphite, lead, and minerality on the nose. I could live in that nose. On the palate, you're met with more earthy minerality and Bordeaux-like characteristics, but you get that additional lift from the bold red fruit. Tannins nicely resolved, impeccable balance, and a wine that is drinking so well, but can go even longer.

They don't make em like they used to!
