Sunday, February 9, 2020 - My earlier opinion has been shown to be completely wrong. That bottle was faulty and I am sorry that I failed to appreciate that point. This ( my last) bottle is really good for a 2007. Not flashy but very pleasant. I enjoy Castillon wines more and more, and they have a softness that Fronsac lacks. An appellation for the wise purchaser: still good value.
