Monday, March 6, 2017 - The wine improved significantly after my last experience in 2013. The tannin and very rough finish finally softened and was more smooth. You can still taste the coffee grounds but it now adds character and some terroir versus having to clear your tongue of grit. Full body, dark fruits and licorice, structure held up surprisingly with some vegetal notes. Held fine for day 2. Better with food.
