Friday, July 3, 2009 - Notes from day 2. Nice purple color. On nose there is blueberry, blackberry, ink, a little funk & herb, and brine. On the palate more blueberry, blackberry, purple paint, vegetal notes, with nice tannin on the back end. Long finish on this wine and there is nice polish and balance. Now this is a nice wine, great qpr, and much more of a tannic bruiser than the 06. Hold. 50+5+13+16+7
