Tuesday, September 21, 2021 - Four hour decant. Very deep ruby magenta color. Chocolate shavings, black currant, blue raspberry icee, and subtle leather on the somewhat brooding nose. Cinnamon graham cracker developed after an additional hour. Grippy, satiny, tongue drying palate. Very firm tannins on the longish finish.

This is good, but needs another year or a 12 hour decant to reach its potential. It continued to improve over two hours of drinking.
