Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - One hour decant (2-3 h is more advisable). Very very deep color (more ruby than magenta). Cherry lollipop, violet perfume, caramel-filled dark chocolate, and cassis, along with subtle tar and raw coconut, on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate, with modestly cottony acidity. Full tannins on the longish finish. This is just at the front end of its good drinking window.
