Saturday, March 16, 2024 - Thinking about getting some of the 2018 and found the 2016 in a wine bar menu. Tried it and was met a lot of our expectations. The fruit spoke of dark fruit with blackberry and maybe some raspberry as well that leaned toward the jammy side. There was spice that started with oregano and finished much more strongly towards pepper and included a hint of something else herbal. Pretty with strong body and higher alcohol and longer finish. Really enjoyed with the pimento cheese and crostini. Will be getting some of the 2018 and hope for some more of the same.
