Saturday, February 28, 2015 - From an absolutely stunning looking bottle with a VHS fill, this wine had a deep red center and oranging rims. The nose was classic CA cab with cherries, subtle mint, blackberries, cola, and alluvial dust.

In the mouth, this wine was refined. It had bright fruit, light rounded tannin and solid acidity. It morphed a couple different times as it aired (4+ hours) and developed impressive complexity. The balance was outstanding!

While this may not be for those who desire a thick/sappy wine, it was gorgeous and its flavors lingered in my mouth for over a minute.
