Saturday, January 7, 2017 - Still garnet at the core but browning at the edges. Very sweet almost over ripe cherry nose that was extremely aromatic. The palate was completely different with roasted tomato and dried cherry flavours. There was lots of life still but the flavours were disjointed. Probably better in its youth rather than at maturity. Definitely showing its age and at the end of its life.
