Monday, April 24, 2023 - As always, consistent Cab from Silver Oak. Black raspberry, cassis and sweet tobacco aroma. Dried raspberry leaf flavor. Excellent texture, has mellowed flavors and a smooth finish. Ready to drink now and could do well with a few more years in the cellar as well. Great acidity for food. We pair with homemade pizzas and the spicy sausage, goat cheese and carmelized onion and kalamta oliva pizza was perfect with things wine.
