Wednesday, June 8, 2022 - From magnum.

Rather delicious bouquet. Magnificent tobacco and mint nose. Very Bordelais but smells older than its 30 years. Complex and alluring.

Doesn't quite hit the same heights once you taste it. Tannins have mostly melted, but searing acidity props everything up. Food tames this a bit. Perhaps a little less distinctive in the mouth than on the nose, but nothing particularly jarring about it. Finish is so-so.

Drink now.
