Saturday, July 15, 2023 - We had the 2013 Groth with home made hamburgers and it was perfect. Pop and pour ready to go right out of the bottle. The nose has lots of dark fruit, leather, and a hint of mint. The palate is medium bodied, rich, not over the top and good fruit. The tannins are nicely integrated, in a good spot right now about 10 years after the vintage first appeared. The finish was a bit short. Overall enjoyed this very much.
