Friday, April 5, 2024 - A medium-purple color suggested a considerably younger vintage, and indeed this juice has ample remaining life. Absolutely gorgeous nose. Decanted for an hour. A slightly oaky initial finish nicely balanced itself out over the next couple hours. I saved a small pour to assess again in the morning and it delightfully picked up right where it left off. Taste now if you must – you’ll thank yourself for a healthy decant – but the smarter play remains further cellaring.
