Friday, December 31, 2010 - Ruby red in color. Lots of fruit and some violet on the nose. Really forward and full of fruit on the palate. Notes of cherry, cassis and currant. Very youthful and lots of life left in this predecessor to what is now Cliff Lede Vineyards. Opened, aerated and decanted this almost 5 hours before serving. Held up beautifully and consistently throughout the evening.
