Thursday, December 20, 2018 - Absolutely delicious expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2008 was full of fresh dark berries. The tannins were soft with right amount of acidity too. Leather notes, chewy. Well balanced with a long finish. A sonoma Cab is more elegant than a Napa cab to my taste buds (see alexander valley) I am not a big fan of Silver Oak, but I'd say this is one of the better California Cabs I have had. Will cellar longer and soften more. Ready to drink now for sure
