Saturday, July 22, 2017 - On opening had an aroma of fuel but after 5hrs of decanting the aromas had changed with good fruit, cherry and blackberry notes with a hint of pepper. Good balance with soft tannins - some oakiness that did not overbear the other flavors. Went very well with steak. Finish was long and left you wanting more.
