Wednesday, June 19, 2013 - This wine is an example of paying for the name. While it was a good wine and pleasant, it has no business at this price point. Not a bold Cabernet at all with no real tannins that I could feel. To me this was particularly fruity with some black cherry, currant hints and some oakiness and spicier notes. Decent feel and finish but not overwhelmingly impressive. This vintage does not scream Silver Oak at all.
