Thursday, July 1, 2021 - I approached this wine as "one of those odd bottles laying about in the cellar" with no firm idea of where it came from, just that it was there. I opened it accordingly with no notion whatsoever so WOW, I was nicely surprised. Dark cherries on the nose, earthy dark fruit, spice, a hint of savory, balanced and smooth - the tannins were nicely integrated. Long finish. Very nice. Wish I had more than this odd bottle!
