Friday, May 16, 2014 - Clear ruby red in the glass with purplish magenta highlights. Full nose of leathery cherries and vanilla violets. Full-bodied palate of stewed black cherries and black leather with a hint of vanilla creme. Upper-moderate acidity and a lingering dark-ish finish. This won't last long enough for me to test its longevity, but I imagine it might yield good results through 2017. But longevity is why we buy Amarone from this region.
