Friday, June 13, 2014 - The (almost) Kick-Off to the World Cup (Domaine Wine Storage, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is very much on the tight side. It takes a few goes to get much with peaches, citrus notes, white fruits, lemon peels, and a nice mineral base. There is excellent depth that shows as it starts to open(slightly).

Taste: Medium bodied with high acidity. The structure is very noticeable right now with peaches, citrus notes, lemon peels, and a lot of minerals.

Overall: This needs a few years before its more accessible and has long distance quality to it. This is a fantastic young chard that should reward patience.
