Monday, September 5, 2016 - A dinner guest brought this and I was impressed. If you’re looking for a bottle that SCREAMS cab franc there was no mistaking the varietal here: BIG minty, green pepper-y expression throughout, with loads of dark fruit and well-integrated oak. The weight and balance seemed spot-on with just-right tannins, structure and richness. With a few years of bottle age it's in the zone and poured great without a decant, but seemed it could rest another 5 years easy without losing itself. I wasn’t familiar with this producer before but they are now on my radar.
