Friday, July 31, 2015 - Pale straw color. Peach and a bit of grapefruit on the palate. This is the oldest of three vintages of this wine in my cellar. Interestingly, first impression upon opening was that there had been some diminution due to age. Missing was the bright, lemony, citrus note evident with younger vintages. However as this opened some of the lemon revealed itself although in a mellower fashion. Certainly this was not past prime but it is interesting to note the changes with time of this (for us) go to Sauvignon Blanc.
