Wednesday, November 22, 2006 - Beautifully integrated nose of bright raspberry, underbrush and that telltale Van der Kamp pine needle characteristic. It hits the palate with creamy black cherry fruit with a touch of vanilla. The finish shows more of the raspberry fruit and menthol. A wine of superb balance and finese. I think this is close to end of its peak window as the fruit faded a little towards the end of the bottle. Drink up.
