Saturday, August 10, 2019 - Ninety minute decant after half a glass; in retrospect, didn't change character. Somewhat closed nose of blackberry with a bit of pepper and vanilla oak. Solid and well integrated tannic backbone with a medium to thick mouthfeel. One dimensional cherry flavors for the palate. Not flawed, just lacking any complexity. Redeeming medium length finish. Throws a bit of sediment at the end.
