Wednesday, January 3, 2024 - Deep ruby in the glass. Nose commanded by dark fruits including plums and cherries, vanilla and baking spice. Tasting, the concentration of fruit is prominent on the front palate but tertiary elements dominate mid and late palate with leather, liquorice and cigar. Tannins are round and soft - very much a balanced wine and drinking really well at this point in its development.
