Monday, February 20, 2017 - Bottle #1 of 6. Very high toned bright red fruits, tons of acidity, very long finish. Bright and detailed. I played with it for a few hours, and it seemed to drink optimally after double decanting, letting it sit corked in bottle at cellar temp for two hours, then warm for another hour. It was stupendous then, right about 65 degrees, but started to fade quickly and got sluggish as it sat open longer. So I think this will have a relatively short peak run. Maybe now to 9 years from now. Quite tasty in a bright red fruited way, and best with food given the acidity, could be a bit shrill for some otherwise.
