Thursday, November 27, 2014 - Upon opening, very smooth, elegant and hot. Lots of cherry that became more bitter. It was great after 2-3 hours of decanting. By sixth hour open, it was quite acidic and some stemmy flavors coming through. This was a magnum, and I think it needs a couple more years in the bottle to mellow out.
