Monday, November 10, 2014 - This needed a day open. Bit too stemmy first day. Day two is wonderful. It is smokey with some pinot funk and classic rhys stalkiness that has subdued considerably. This contrasts with the very refreshing fruit of cranberry and perfectly ripe light red cherry. Lacks any notable texture but has an ideal middleweight body. Not terribly complex, but so well balanced and composed to create pinot tone and refreshing acidity that marries smoothness on the palate. Excellent.
