Saturday, March 17, 2012 - Tasted during pickup day. Opened by the elves ~12hrs before and recorked. Mixture of mostly Family Farm. Open, light fruity nose, with some sweet oak and perhaps a touch of eucalyptus. Light-medium in body, with noticeably less complexity, structure, and concentration of the normal Family Farm. Probably more pleasing to most than the 09 Santa Cruz in general. Will be released ~$45. Won't be as much of a value as the one-off, famed 2006 version, but there is still quality to be found here.
