Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - The Rhone Rangers (City Winery, 155 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013): The nose showed rich red fruits, tart cranberry and spice. It was rich and concentrated on the palate with red and black fruits and dark chocolate. The finish was long with berry fruit, spice and gripping tannin. This was made in more of a full-throttle style than I usually prefer, but it was highly enjoyable.
