Wednesday, January 31, 2024 - Fourth of my 4 bottles. Crimson with an orange tinge at the edges. Decanted for sediment into an old wine decanter, but rather muted when first opened. With a little bit of air, a wonderful perfume of roses, tar, mineral, and cherries. On the palate, there is still a bit of tannic grip. Great length. Very attractive savoury quality to this wine. Beautiful expression of Barolo.
