Friday, July 1, 2022 - Nice clean cork. Still a deep ruby with no sign of bricking up. Minimal clear rim. The aroma leapt out of the glass when poured from a decanter (literally decanted 5 mins prior). Still plenty of cassis but also secondary leather and eucalyptus. Very prominent for sure. Strong cassis on the palate - maybe slightly dilute on the finish - nice salinity and good length although perhaps a little chalky towards the end? Great value nonetheless since this was bought 2014 ie in the dip post the 2009 bubble of hype!
