Sunday, May 29, 2022 - Sour cherry, dark cherry and rhubarb fruit. A bit of earth and meaty flavors along with an alluring floral overlay. Sweet seasoning. impeccable balance and pure, precise fruit on the palate. The only downer was some heat that couldn‘t be masked, albeit only at elevated temperatures, and the texture felt a bit rough. That said, the palate had a nice sweetness to it. Didn’t decant but drank over 3 days and this showed pretty consistently throughout. I think decanting doesn’t do much at this stage, but I do reckon 3-5 years of bottle age would definitely help to soften the edges.
