Friday, July 9, 2021 - Still young so it does need decanting at least 30 minutes before drinking. Reductive upon opening, after an hour in the decanter, this blew away and that was when this wine revealed its true self. Bright fruits on the nose with some matchsticks characteristics, the body was most refined with endless power (acidity, oak etc.) and grace (orange, melon) with a beautiful finish. Perhaps it did not quite have the great complexity of the great Giaconda vintages but a very refined drop.

Drink now or 8+ years.
