Thursday, October 15, 2020 - Located next door to Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru vineyard from the exceptional 2009 vintage, this is a good example of Gevrey Chambertin. Typical sweet and sour red fruit. Tannins still noticeable but not overwhelming the fruit. Some tertiary savoury notes, but still firmly in the background. Will keep for many more years, yet. Drink over 5 years if you prefer primary flavours or 10+ if you want more complexity. Good.
