Saturday, July 4, 2020 - Very impressive overall. This is a big wine. Big tannins upon opening. Big fruit coating a thick palate. Full bodied. Blackberry, cassis, leather and a hint of graphite. The next day the structure subsides and sweeter tones emerge. I prefer day one. This wine is much more compelling with the tannins and with food. Drink now. Seems like it's close to peaking based on the day 2 observation.
