Tuesday, January 1, 2019 - Opening wine for 2019. Had this 4 years ago. Today at ten years old, it has an aroma of black cassis fruit violets smoke and spices. The palate is medium bodied with youthful black currant fruits, plums, graphites and lead. This has good focus and acidity however the tannins are still slightly firm and austere. Approachable but will will improve further with additional cellaring.
