Friday, March 22, 2019 - Faintly translucent cherry red in color. A rich nose of cherries and lavender. Vibrant fruit, blackberries, strawberries, licorice. Firm tannins, nice acidity, beautiful balance. Moderately long finish with subtle cherry notes. The overall impression is eloquence without sacrificing the beautiful fruit. This should continue to drink well for another 4 or 5 years. Alas, it was my last bottle.
