Friday, November 16, 2018 - A pleasant surprise after the Lange PN of the same year, which was past its due date.
The cork was 90% moist but firm. Decanted off a little, fine sediment.
Initial taste was a bit sharp, but the wine opened-up over the next two hours and remained enjoyable to the end. Shared with Kevin and Rob over bagette and hard cheeses. With air, some fruit showed through the tertiary flavours. Overall, a tribute to a fine producer and a cool cellar.
